What shall we do..?

There were a lot of things to discuss during our project, Creative ideas for a better world, and we managed to speak about important problems in Europe and in the world. One of these problems, according to participants’ opinions was begging and they tried to offer a solution for it. You can see below the way they have expressed their concern about this problem and what kind of options does such a person have in order not to practice begging anymore.

During our project, Creative ideas for a better world, the participants have worked on making a brochure filled with enthusiasm, ideas, creativity and solutions for the problems identified. They have also shared their thoughts about the exchange and did their best to make you feel brave enough to try some good changes in your community!

Creative Ideas for a better world

Considering 2009 “The European Year of Creativity and Innovation”, Team Work Association has organized its second European project , called “Creative ideas for a better world”, a youth exchange of the Youth in Action Program.

The main purpose of the project was to make young people aware of the current problems in Europe and to find solutions together through creativity, while the objectives we have considered were:

identifying current European problems and finding creative solutions by exchanging ideas

facilitating youth involvement by non-formal activities based on creativity and intercultural dialogue which could make the participants aware of the European values and stimulate their community spirit

making a brochure with the most creative solutions for the current problems identified by the participants and promoting it in the participants’ living communities.

The exchange took place in Cluj Napoca, Romania and gathered for 8 days (23^rd – 31^st august 2009) 27 participants, including group leaders, from Latvia, Italy, Turkey, Poland and Romania.

The activities were based on non-formal education and the methods used were debates, games, theatre, presentations and national evenings.
